Howdy!
We have recently recieved technical questions from folks who are re-creating our projects. For those of you new to the site, We have a forum section on the site where you can post your questions, and get them answered by the Guru's. (if we are able to answer em!)
Check it out at www.2pointhome.com/forums
And for those of you in need of one-on-one help, I will be doing a live Ustream Friday right here at 2pointhome.com! I know you are struggling with that technical issue, or want to know more about the Blackberry Storm. Join me Friday and bring your questions!
Its that time of the week again!
No, It's not Peanut Butter and Jelly time. Its time for my pick of Tech Joke of the Week. This week I am sharing something a little more personal.
Engineers are known for thinking outside the box. Well this holds true when thinking of Pick-Up Lines as well.
"Girl, you're sweeter than Glucose!"
:-)
Howdy!
Its the end of a long week!
We have elected a new President in America, Dee 2.0 has taught us some Email Netiquette (Netiquette is an actual word. I looked it up), Guru Alison's book is in stores, and Brian's Bird is the Word.
If your week has been a rough one, or if you just need some fun words to round off the week, Check out my pick of Tech Joke of the week courtesy of www.jokething.com, and funniest FiOS commercial of the week.
You know you've been online to long when...

I am always looking for interesting ways to integrate technology into common inanimate household objects. This morning I came across a really cool hack that turns an ordinary mirror into a portal into another world.
LitStudios.com turned a full body mirror into an Interactive Interface that not only shows reflections but also has the ablility to display any image a normal computer screen displays!
If you are reading this article via some non-analog method, there is over a 70% chance that you are reading this on a Microsoft branded computer or device. (Unless of course you are the Buckley's or Royer's; We got them an all Mac setup!)
All of you have no doubt seen the recent Microsoft ads featuring comedian Jerry Seinfeld, or the infamous "I am a PC" ads. Well one of the reasons Microsoft is drilling its brand into your scull is that it is preparing for its best Operating System to date: Simply named Windows 7. Windows 7 is an upgrade to Vista. Many folks have had mixed feelings about Vista; I will explain why the new version may bring amends to Vista's woes.

Bird Bird Bird! The Bird is the word!
Building an anamatronic bird was a bit of a challenge for Guru Brian, but he managed to pull it off in record timing! Not only that, he is just in time for Halloween!
Check out the video above on how you can build your own Anamatronic Bird!
I am Brian Albert, and I approve this message.
Brad Lidge has been perfect this season when it comes to closing games, and that held true in game four of the World Series. With the biggest strikeout of the season, Brad Lidge solidified the Phillies place as World Champions of Baseball!
Looking back on this incredible season, I want to take time to thank Ryan Howard, the good folks of Abbington, and the My Home 2.0 Crew who made this a memorable season for me. The hard work everyone put in for the hack-a-bat project, as well as all our other projects has brought joy and entertainment to the lives of many, including mine. Thank You!
The month of October is Energy Awareness Month, and we want to do our part as Techno Guru's to increase your awareness of energy.
Friday October 25th, Brian and I gave a presentation to the John Hopkin's Center for Talented Youth and their parents. We hope that the students enjoyed the demonstrations and hope that both the parents and children left more aware of their energy usage! :)
Yet more videos from our visit to Maker Faire last weekend. Singing tesla coils, a ceiling fan with a message, a fire hydrant - on fire! - and a crustacean chorus...
We headed over to Maker Faire last weekend and saw some incredible sights. Here are some of them on video...
