Our show hosts pick up some mindblowing technology for their latest makeovers, from YES -- the same folks who might be giving YOU a TV this weekend....
Verizon's Refer A Friend Program has been in place for a while, but with the recent addition of voice services to the referral options, the time to take advantage of it has never been better....
It seems some scammers have been pretending to be Verizon, and sending out fake sweepstakes notifications falsely claiming the recipient has won $750,000.
Do not respond to any such sweepstakes from someone claiming to be Verizon, as it is a fake!...
Record shows and watch them on other TVs in the house, stream photos and music from your PC to your TV, and more...just like Kevin Garnett!
Pretty handy little article in this month's Real Simple, comparing DSL, cable, and fiber optics (fiber-to-the-premises, such as FiOS) -- in terms of accurately appraising the pros and cons in a relatively tiny amount of words, it's one of the best comparisons I've read so far....
TV industry veteran Marianne Paskowski posted a compelling blog on TV Week -- "FiOS: More Bang for the Buck" -- about a friend dropping her cable triple-play service in favor of FiOS, which offered more channels for less money....
"Verizon's fiber-to-the-home networks offers some clear advantages. Here's everything your HDTV needs to know."
The June issue of Sound & Vision has one of, if not the, most informative, in-depth, and accurate articles on FiOS TV I've seen to date...
On behalf of the Techno-Gurus, our producers Kathleen and Andrew, and all the rest of the My Home 2.0 crew, I just wanted to give a special shout-out to the fine folks at Overture Ultimate Home Electronics in Wilmington, Delaware...
For once, "fine print" ended up actually heralding something great...
Aaron Saykin, of Pittsburgh's ABC Channel 4, aired a story last night on a recent consumer survey, as part of his "Call 4 Action" consumer watchdog segment...
