Less than two weeks after getting the green light from the New York Public Service Commission, FiOS TV is now available in New York City.  

Not only that, but with the immediate addition of 100 high-definition channels, FiOS TV customers in NYC now have the most HD in the country....

Verizon has filed an application and plan for FiOS TV deployment throughout New York City, with the New York City Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT).
