We've been having a real war in my house lately. If you're a parent, you've probably been through the same skirmishes. I'm speaking, of course, of the Great Battle of Eat Your Vegetables...
Thanks to a lack of technology, Mary Wurtz was putting her friends' noses out of joint when she didn't have a way to keep her catering prices consistent...

Joe and Mary Wurtz were trying to get a catering business off the ground while fighting with older computer equipment. They were so worried about their kids not having good technology education that they moved them to another school. The Gurus not only set the Wurtzes up with a solid foundation for their blossoming business, but they also transformed the unused basement into a gathering place not only for friends to come over for fun and games, but for potential catering clients to sample Mary's wares...
This time, the tech challenges get tougher.
The brainstorms get bigger.
Weirder.
2.0-ier...
Hello Everyone, This has been a difficult post to compose because we could not really fathom how to express our level of gratitude to everyone who was involved on this project....
We were very lucky to have a special friend of the show come out to the Wurtz family block party last weekend. My Home 2.0 community member Michele Alvaro, of MHA Photography, captured dozens of gorgeous images of the summer fun in Abington, PA....
This is one of the exclusive scenes you won't be seeing in the Wurtz family's HD show episode, for reasons explained in the video...
Just because the guys from Bob & Ron's Worldwide Stereo got to go home a little early last night doesn't mean our Techno-Gurus did....
Come to the block party from noon to 4pm today and see what Alison, Lloyd, and Brian were up late creating for the Wurtzes!
Since we're back in the Philly area shooting the Wurtz family's tech makeover, we figured we'd rely on the expertise of My Home 2.0 veterans Bob & Ron's Worldwide Stereo...
These photos were all taken between June 4-6 -- mostly in and around the Wurtz residence in Abington, PA, with a few snapped at The Lair in Lambertsville, NJ, where Guru Brian was working on an extra-special invention.
Come to the block party today (Saturday, June 7) and see the tech makeover revealed live!...
