Sure, lots of text nowadays is read on computer screens, PDAs and Kindles, but as My Home 2.0 star Jerry Buckley has said, sometimes you just can't beat good ol' paper.

The passage of time, however, sure can do a number on paper products, especially the glue that holds the binding together. Instead of throwing those dog-eared vintage tomes out, though, you actually can use a clothes iron to rejuvenate the binding, melting the decades-old glue with soft heat before reshaping it.
