Blogger Relocates...for FiOS

I'd like to think the tongue-in-cheek blog I wrote a couple months ago had something to do with it, but more than likely it was the 30 megabit-per-second down/15 megabit-per-second up, all fiber-optic connection that did it.

But whatever the final push was, the fact remains that blogger Andru Edwards actually moved to a different neighborhood so he could get FiOS.

Edwards, who writes for Gear Live, said in an interview with Ars Technica, "I moved 10 minutes north of Seattle specifically for FiOS service."

Congrats, Andru -- hope you have cool new neighbors...the kind who bring you pie. But even if they don't, at least you don't have to worry about them sucking up your bandwidth any more!
