Our editor Rob is hard at work putting together our newest episodes, but he was kind enough to give me a sneak peek of some of the Word family's footage -- oldest son Lewis Jordan (a.k.a. Lew Static) dropping some of his latest rhymes on the block party stage just before his family's tech makeover reveal. Enjoy:
I can't wait to hear the studio version of this song, as well as all the rest of the gems that come out of his new digital home studio. (Can't wait to see what comes out of it, either -- I bet some funky dance moves will be invented simultaneously with the funky sounds that wriggle and jiggle their way out of the motion-sensitive Interactive Wall Harp.)
So, what's my favorite line in Lew's rap?
"I'm hot, dog. Catch up."

I had no idea how great this performance really was...well actually I did (in the most humble context)...but it was great to finally see it and hopefully everyone will enjoy viewing it...
