Apartments

SO, My mother brought up an interesting question because my aunt is or was thinking of auditioning but was reluctant because she lives in a townhome rental. Would My Home 2.0 redo an apartment or Townhome rental or do you have to own the property that will be redone?

She would be prime candidate for Techno makeover - actually she would also be a prime canidate for a "Clean house" makeover as well. It boils down to needing a bigger place to live, but curious all the same when asked the question.
